Are you a vegitarian?
4 There are some that only chew the cud or only have a divided hoof, but you must not eat them. The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is ceremonially unclean for you. 5 The hyrax, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you. 6 The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you. 7 And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. 8 You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
Can't even keep just a little bit Kosher in today's World.
At Least I have my Pickles and Salt.
Neither are filthy if cared for properly. If they’re filthy it’s because they are owned by a lazy idiot who is clueless about space requirements, or is too greedy to care about space requirements.
Rat? This is a rat burger?
Not bad! Matter of fact this is the best burger I've had in years!
Sorry, you are mistaken...Pigs are very clean...
Never Knew Pigs Meant so much to people, Guess that is what I get for posting on a thread titled Long Live the Pig!
Lols.
As for not applying to you, we could go on forever about that, that is a disagreement that won't be resolved until the end of the world.
So for the sake of us all, just agree to disagree and not have this thread put in the Religious Forum. ;)
Shalom.
I came here expecting bacon and wound up eating popcorn instead!
Exactly!
Peace to you too. Be a litte more sensitive from now on.
The “uncleaness” in the Five Books of Moses is ritual impurity for a Jew, not a commentary on healthfulness or physical cleanliness. Though there is an instinct to think that there must be a rational reason, it is actually an example of ‘chukim’, Divine Decrees that don’t need a reason we can understand.
Nothing wrong with a non-Jew eating pork.
Facts about Pigs
Pigs belong to the animal group Mammals they are warm-blooded animals that suckle their babies.
Although primarily raised for their meat, pigs are one of the smartest of the domesticated animals.
Pigs can live up to 15 years they have an acute sense of smell, excellent hearing and eyesight.
Pig manure is a valuable fertilizer and compost additive for the veggie patch, vines and fruit trees.
Pigs are the fourth smartest animal group in the world, following humans, apes, chimps, whales and dolphins.
Pigs do not have any sweat glands, on hot days they must be allowed to wallow in mud or shallow water to cool down. People think that because of this, pigs are dirty animals but in fact pigs are very clean, intelligent creatures and learn very quickly.
Bacon tastes gooood. Pork chops taste gooood.
Only Took 94 Replays for someone not to jump my sh!t and get my reference.
Oh Well, my fault for not posting the under it I guess. (Too one of the most well known movies of all time)
A Sewer Rat may taste like Pumpkin Pie, but I will never know because I wouldn't eat the filthily M.F.er.

****I don’t understand why Goy would consume an animal that eats purposely eats its own feces. ****
Many years ago farmers had a simple way of maximizing feed for animals.
They would feed grain to cattle. Then they would run hogs behind the cattle to eat the grain not digested by the cows.
Then they would have chickens run behind the hogs for the same reason.
Yes, chickens will eat cow and hog and horse manure.
*** I am sure in a combat environment you had to suck it up a few times because if I recall correctly C-Rats were Bacon, Pork Loaf, More Pork Loaf, Sausages, and Pork Loaf. ***
I remember some war movie in which Joey Bishop is a Jewish soldier who tosses his rations aside when he finds Pork in them. Needless to say, a Jap patrol later finds the can with fresh rations still in it and the chase is on.
I love bacon too but doesn’t the cholesterol in bacon clog your arteries if eaten on a regular basis? And I mean in moderate amounts: no more than three well-drained strips at a time.
