I liked that book, I read half of it about 1980, when someone had it while I was on the road, and then had to finish it when I found in the 1990s (not having noticed the title the first time).
We conservatives are the pioneer types that made America, we would not be tolerant of violent raiders and killer criminal gangs in our midst, and threatening and delaying our recovery and families and rebuilding our protective communities.
As a native Texan I am proud of my state, but as you can see from talking to that kid, even Texas gets a rare punk in it, although with all the other teen angst/movie type stuff he is spewing, he may have made up the Texas part as well.
Yeh even Texas has a few lemons I guess. I knew he wasn’t from N GA. He must have looked up Clayon, GA on Google as I’m sure he knows nobody up here. Especially law enforcement who we know pretty well. He’s not training anybody up here. I got a good laugh out of it though.
Our communities up here are very close knit and everyone takes care of everyone else. They are all related. :-)
A friend of mine is from Rabun County. He left there years ago to join the Navy and somehow ended up in Central Kentucky.
And I will bet on my group against your solo, you see you will be taking stuff, they will be protecting their families from a rabid coyote. There will be no law to protect you.
So those that you brag about "protecting" will be left to fall prey to others who have your same mentality. It is really kind of sad.
Can you detail your experience in survival or combat situations other than Halo?
Sorry, don't play computer games like that I guess you do and that is where you got your "vast knowledge".
But I have been in more combat and just plain tight spots then I can list and I walked out without having the might of the US military behind me.
I am betting that the first time you try your little games you are going to end up dead. You see, I know how people act in survival situation. You apparently don't.
Learn to read I never said bushwhack nor harm anyone. Matter of fact I never detailed much of what I would do other than say I stored a x amount and will see what happens and all bets are off as to where I will get my stuff in a extended scenario. You and other started the assuming game of what I know or do not know and assuming if I am a solo act or not.
I have never played any video games. Where and when I got my knowledge and experience is not really your concern and frankly I don’t give a flying f that you know me or not.
Please do tell about your combat spots. Bouncing the local bars, sitting in a deer stand, paint ball games, whatever... I don’t really care so please don’t bother answering with some list of bona fides. The best thing you could do there Teddy is just prep yourself for what may be coming and hope you have the stones to do what is necessary after the first shot, so to speak, is fired. Until then enjoy yourself and hopefully we won’t meet.
