I expect they’re thinking about that extra change rattling around in electric car owner’s pockets.

Do these fools stay awake nights trying to figure out more ways to get and spend our money?

Gasoline is already taxed—both at the state and national level, as I understand it.

Mileage taxes are an attack on rural people.

Well. Will they also find a way to monitor and subtract taxes from people who don’t utilize public transportation boondoggles?

I thought not...

Taxes can be neither created or destroyed, only converted into new taxes.

Democrat physics.

The only way that works is if you put a gps in someone’s vehicle and can accurately detect the miles driven within the state.

Otherwise, you go with a national tax and arbitrage the miles.

“There are people who aren’t broke,” said Boyle slowly. “You boys have no excuse for permitting all that need and misery to spread through the country - so long as there are people who aren’t broke.”

Dear leader and his goons need more bribery money, especially with the 2014 elections coming up.

And their taxation can even EXCEED 100%, if they have the power to borrow against future revenue.

They have been doing this for quite a while now, it is pretty much raised to an art form.

The cruelest and most pernicious tax of all is a creeping inflation that does not take into account any real economic growth, and in fact, stalls it out at an exponential rate.

Black Boxes with GPS will soon control your vehicle.

Only up until the time that I locate it and disable it.

“Mileage taxes are an attack on rural people.”

They see it as a tax on wealthy people - how many inner city people have cars?
