Yes. Ol’ Sheets Byrd who used derogatory racist terms well in to the 90’s when he was allied with Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Wallace never became a Repub. Fritz Hollings never did. Estes Kefauver never did (although he was not a firebrand segregationist he didn’t really fight it).
The only one they have, and their argument seems based on, is Stromboli Thurmond. And he switched in 1964 to the party that supported civil rights in contrast to the Dems so it can’t be argued he switched to join the racist party.
Like so much f liberalism and leftism, the whole thing is ludicrous.

This man is a dishonest liar. He does not fear G-d.; neither does he know Him. As a liberal he bows and worships at an altar of his own making. It is the illusion that if you can produce an emotion of “compassion” or “indignant outrage” it is sufficient, because it will move people to act in accord with your political objectives. That it is based upon a lie does not matter, and does not bother Mr. Wrangler in the slightest. He has no love for the truth. He loves the lie that he has created and proceeds to spew forth.
