I’ll bet it was a lot of discipline that Trump had to maintain in his Military Academy days.
And it did him some good.
I saw this story earlier, and I expected it to be posted at some time.

No, Mr. Trump—going to Military School is NOT the same as being in the service.
If he gets the nomination, I’ll have to hold my nose to vote for him.

If Trump made a career in military, there would be 100,000 less jobs in United States, because that many people have been employed by Trump over the years.
If Trump made a career in military, US economy would be Billions of $$ poorer. There was no shortage of soldiers during the wars, only shortage of smart leaders who initiated stupid wars of Vietnam and Iraq.

No where in the article does Trump insist that military school is the same as serving in the military. All he said was he felt like he was in the military when he attended military school. This is a big nothing yawner.

Did they make up his words? If so then Trump needs to go after them. If it is what he said, then ahhh no Mr. Trump school is not like serving it isn’t even like boot camp and if you are half as smart as people make you out to be then you should have know that.

Trump recently told biographer Michael D'Antonio that he "always felt that I was in the military" because of his education at a military-themed boarding school. After five years of a military prep school, most anyone would identify with the military and feel like they'd had some degree of military experience. The statement can also be viewed positively as from someone who identifies with and respects the military.
Not the negative some probably want it to be for Trump.
