I use Opera. Same thing happening to me, when I copy/paste a quote to respond to. I have to clean it up after Spell checking it while in Preview.

Right back at you if you think FR is collecting a large sums of money for the service provided. Maybe it looks like a lot if you’re working minimum wage at a gas station somewhere.

Apparently it has something to do with “smart quotes”: You can use this online tool to replace smart quotes with regular straight quotes.

Would make more sense for John Robinson to transplant the code into FR. Does John still work on FR?

They are well aware of the problem. apparently it’s not an easy fix.

You go to the piece of FR which puts out the page to the browser. You scan the text for the odd characters, and replace them with the corresponding correct characters. It doesn't seem that hard to me, which is why I was wondering if John Rob is still working for FR (particularly since he hasn't posted here since October 1st)
