The part about referring to tribe name makes perfect sense, to me.
A person who doesn’t know which tribe, but due to gene test knows some sorta like, imo, is so far removed as to be pointless in referring to it.
Myself, though...
I look sideways and am bit untrusting of anyone who feels the need to hyphenate their identity.
