Box Of Truth did this a few years ago. Unless you're taking cover behind the engine block or possibly the wheels, a car offers little to no cover against anything bigger than a .22 LR. Unarmored vehicles are concealment at best.

Yup...I've never understood why it has to be an either-or thing. I own both a G 21 and a 1911, and love 'em both.
