Wait a minute. The study showed women pictures and words and expected them to choose. Well, of course they chose the better looking men.
Men’s looks to me change when I get to know him. Someone may be a total hunk when we met, but if he is a jerk, he actually becomes ugly without doing anything different.
Having manners is also a major plus.
People who look like they smell are not going to get as many hits even if they have wonderful personalities.
I’ve seen some gorgeous women with scummy men. I sat next to one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen in college. There was a big campus deal going on and I asked her if she was going. She told me no one had asked her. I told her that she was so beautiful that all the guys were intimidated. I didn’t ask her because I was in a committed relationship.
I think that’s why you see beautiful women with slugs. They settle. And the slugs ask them out because they got nothing to lose.
And too many watch The Kardashians and think it’s so cool to date a black thug.
I am rich and handsome. Women adore me and or my money.

Women will never admit it but they also vote by looks. My solidly Conservative sister voted for Bill Clinton, twice.
Millions of women voted for him on the basis of looks alone.

I disagree completely with your sentiment. You weren’t ignored. You were simply kept non-jaded so when your honey bunny entered your life.. you weren’t suspicious or mean. To describe yourself in the way you did is hurtful to your gal... who thinks you are the best guy in the whole world. If she finds you handsome.. YOU are handsome. Own it, hot guy!! :)
Well, I do believe this, given the age group they surveyed. And back in the day, this wasn’t an issue for me.
Now that I’m so much older, I’m more interested in what attracts old broads, being an old man and all!
Green is always attractive
but he is not handsome ( to me anyhow) even when he was younger. (GWB was handsome, especially when he was younger) Now he looks like Death is gonna call any minute.
There's the flaw with the study. Or one of the many flaws. The older the woman, the less they go for Mr. Tall/Dark/Handsome.
I think they are missing lots of things here. Dominance and Humor are very important to females. And you won’t get that from a bio and a picture.
