This makes sense to me.

Trump violates liberal piety. He is not at base a nihilist but rather a norman vincent peale power of positive thinking type.

LOL. No. The debate and controversy over universal suffrage is hardly something new. The founders debated it, it is a plank in the Communist Manifesto, etc.

Well, I think it is irrelevant to the problem at hand. For one thing, Trump just won an election. The criticism of him is in spite of that fact.

Judging people in the workplace by their personality and identity rather than their performance has stemmed from private sector management fads among globalist types.

This is yet another BS push-poll that reeks of mendacity trying to create more Fake News about how everyone hates Trump. We all should have learned last year that polls are utterly meaningless and worthless as indicators of anything other than what the pollster wants to convey.

Elections are different though. They are popularity contests, and the people voting MOSTLY use superficial reasons for choosing a preference.

So you are questioning the wisdom of the voters who elected Donald Trump, but you are not questioning the wisdom of the private sector cults-of-personality who continue to oppose his election?

My remarks amount to holding that universal suffrage is a bad thing. I agree with the premise of the article, at least a substantial minority, and maybe most people develop vote and elected official preferences and opinions based on superficial and irrelevant observations.

Most of them disapprove of Trump because he is smart white man with a far superior intellect than the Muslim pig that looted the country for 8 years.

Yeah, they hate Trump because, above all else, he is white and a helluva a lot smarter than the Kenyan Muslim.

Yeah, the press effectively convicted Nixon and told the people ha was not likable. People believed it. My wife had dinner with him in a group once and said he was quite personable.

The individuals that I know, but do not associate with very often, are simply against Trump because they are democrats and he is a Republican. They do not know, or care to know, what they are talking about regarding the facts of any situation and are entirely accepting of liberal media. From print to any social media and TV in particular. TV is where they spend more time in a day than I do in a month. No expectation of change for any of them. Minds made up, too hidebound to probe further. I also root for extreme weather conditions on election days so they stay put watching other anti Republicans and anti Trumpers spouting their uninformed opinions to each other on CNN and other leftist outlets.

So, what percentage of those that LOVE President Trump do so because of his personality, and how many because of his policies?

Oh...they didn't ask that?

So what you are saying is that you are trying to hijack this discussion about why Trump haters hate him, with your own personal ax to grind about whether or not people should be allowed to vote?

LOL. No. I am ridiculing the people that dislike Trump for superficial reasons. That's a takeaway from the poll.

I do appreciate the discussion with you though. Good day. Twit.

Mr. Nixon was VERY "likeable"!

If you don't believe that he was, you are either much younger than I am and/or 1)don't know history nor anything at all factual about him 2)brainwashed.
