Who wants to go in the military with the apparently real possibility of having a “gay” company commander? I was Navy for 20 years, most of which was in recruiting. There is no way I would recommend someone go that route today. I wouldn’t talk them out of it, but I wouldn’t encourage it, either.

When I was drafted, there were plenty of section eights, fruits, psychos, and drugees, but they were thrown out when they couldn’t cut it. They weren’t recruited because it was recognized they weren’t up to it. The next war won’t be any easier than ours was.

They have been letting kooks in for a loooooong time - so many Democraps that it's insane. They supposedly have to be "vetted" and prove why they should get a waiver. Served 24 years and another 15 civil service and saw so many nut jobs it's insane - at least the ones who can't keep it in check can be "disposed of".

Sometimes the best combat troops have something a bit "different" about them.....Let's face it, with it so easy to subsist doing nothing because of all the pogroms out there, it says something that one actually wants to enlist enough to fight for it - just so long if they know what sex they are.....
