“The excerpt was enough. And no matter how often that is mentioned here, it never gets better. “
I believe it’s getting worse.

9mm. Too much recoil in a small frame weapon with .40 or .45

Glock 23. .40 S&W. Although today I would consider going 9 mm. But I have too much invested in .40 at this point.

1/2 inch chain, well lubed

Model 686+ for me, with 3” barrel & 357. If I want more concealment, a Model 60 with 38+P. For outstanding concealment, a Beretta Pico.

I have 3 different ones. Rossi 88 in 38 Spl., Glock 39 in 45 GAP, and a Charter Arms Bulldog (old model) in 44 Spl. The 38 is loaded with 158 LSWCHP+P, the 45 GAP has 160 grain Barnes Buffalo Bores in it, and the 44 is loaded with180 grain Hornady XTPs

Wife .380, real estate. LCP w/laser grip. Sphere gold dot.
Most importantly, she has situational awareness.
Nice rig.
Me, nah, no licence on the road. While the States have to honor pervert’s sexual licenses somehow self defense does not make the constitutional grade despite plaintext.
Because Justice is truly blind in America. Judges can’t read what is in the Constitution, only read into it.

For daily carry in a generally non-threatening environment I use a Ruger LC9S loaded with 9 mm Federal Premium HST. With this round I get ballistic performance that equals or exceeds FBI standards, in a flat, single stack, easy to conceal package.
In a SHTF environment, I'd probably upgrade to my .40 S&W Glock worn openly, with my 9 mm concealed.
If I'm dressed up in a form fitting tux, I'll use my .380 Ruger LCP pocket pistol and pretend I'm James Bond. ;)

Glock 17 9mm and S&W MP .380 with laser site.
To: ImJustAnotherOkie
Yep. I put a CT Laserguard on it and bought a real nice wallet holster and still came out cheap.
