Trump will hurt himself if he communicates with the partisan Mueller in any manner shape or form. Mueller’s been taking with everyone close to Trump and now wants to talk to him. Remember Scooter and Flynn. Tell Mueller to pound salt.
No, I still think written questions and answers are the way to go. The lawyers can draft them. They can object to questions and claim privilege on any questions regarding conversations Trump may have had. They can answer without answering and then claim they have cooperated fully. It’s the Clinton approach - take advantage of it.
Mueller’s been working too hard for too long and he needs a break. Nice sunny climate. No stress. No worries about what to wear today. Every day is Orange Day. It’s always just super in Gitmo.
Nobody gets to be as rich or as old as Trump without learning how to handle stuff like this. Trump is not going to wander blindly into his sights.

If I were Trump I’d ask what is the charge ? You know, the crime. I wouldn’t talk to anyone in the absence of a charge.
I have a fantasy where Mulehead comes to the White House to interview Trump, and is ushered into a room where FBI and DOJ agents are set up at a table. In walks Trump. “Now, Mr. Mueller, we are going to ask you a few questions.”
“But, but, I’m here to conduct the interview.”
“Yes, but we’ve changed our mind about that. You work for the executive branch, and I’ve decided that I want you to answer some questions that my friends here have for you. Proceed.”
“I refuse to answer. I’m not here to be questioned.”
“As your boss, I am ordering you to answer our questions. Unless you want to plead the 5th.”
Then they proceed to grill him on his background with Comey, what they talked about in their private meeting, Uranium One, and even his taxes, which they can get copies of ahead of time. The beauty is, it is FBI guys they are talking to, so it’s a crime if he gives a false answer to any question.

Apparently it’s crime if you don’t answer the same question exactly the same way every time it’s asked.
“The Washington Post reports that Robert Mueller has told President Trump’s legal team that his office will likely seek an interview with the president.” BASED SOLELY ON ANONYMOUS SOURCES! Yet presented as FACT!
And that’s how ALL fake news works: someone publishes something acknowledging anonymous sources, and soon enough others publish it but drop the “anonymous sources” part, and pretty soon it’s being published as established FACT!
Robert Mueller and his entire sedition team need to be placed in front of a firing squad, yesterday.
This article starts with these words “The Washington Post..”which automatically disqualified it as a meaningful report. Fake News. Maybe a late entry for Trump’s Fake News awards.
My opinion is that you cannot compel the President of the United States to do anything. You can only impeach him.
