My 35 yr old son really had his heart broken a few years ago. She did it on Christmas. He has not had a relationship since. The thing I worry about is his being alone in his later years. He has some very close friends so I know he will be okay. His 4 nieces and nephews will be there for him too.

He's 25 years old. If you did your job right, he has been ready for some time.
And to be clear, I am not happy things are the way they are. I wish they were diferent, but I do not duck reality when it isn’t pretty. Marriage is a terrible deal for men.
When you have time, listen to these young women. I strongly encourage you to do so.
The discovery process of asets s so the court and lawyers all know how much the couple has, and how much they can take from them. The lawyers both know, and encourage animosity between the husband and wife to increase court time fees and billable hours. If you have a lot they know they can take more and deliberately drag things out, encourage women primarily to make moves to antagonize the man and cause further legal expenses that require more cort time or ore lawyer filings, etc.
Nothing wrong with living alone. Its worse when you live with people and they make you wish they were alone. Men are also not like women, solitude and quiet for reflection and peace is appreciated by most men. Women can’t handle being alone nearly as well as men ad you make the mistake of projecting your own experieces with not liking eig alone ont men.

Whom is the real psychopath here, me the guy citing stats by the cdc on mariage failure rates that show almost no man is going to not be divorce raped in todays society, or you, the guy who knows from these same stats at least 94% of guys will wind up divorce raped within the first ten years of marriage, but yet still encourages them too ahead and get married?

As she has other partners and memories to compare her husband to; and, as the carefree life of travel-and-sex through the 20s, seems positively glamorous compared to the workaday responsibilities of marriage.
The article uses the erroneous 50% divorce rate as I explained in a prior post. The CDC puts the rate of divorce for a first marriage within the first 10 years between 93-97%.
Why would you encourage a man to get married when they have a 93-97% chance of getting divorce raped within 10 years? Women initiate 80% of divorces so you know its not bad for them, they get the cash and prizes, they know this, there is no downside for divorce for them, the men get destroyed.
Maybe you do not care it’s the men that, as a rule, get destroyed. If the women were the ones that the courts were biased against, maybe you would be saying to your girlfriends, dont get married, 93-97% chance you’ll wind up divorced and financially screwed by your ex husband.
