When Sessions was growing up in Alabama, the Democratic Party ran the State, and had corrupted the Government office holders to serve the interests of the Party. The KKK served as the feared terrorist arm of the Democratic Party. They were viewed as beyond the law, because corrupt local law enforcement, judges and politicians within the Democratic Party would (an did) cover up for them.

When Sessions became a prosecutor in Alabama, he continued to pursue a murder investigation into the second in command of the Alabama Klan (Henry Hays), after the FBI gave up on their investigation. His low-profile but relentless pursuit, and his innovative approach produced a conviction - and the death penalty. This trial was the basis used in civil proceedings to bankrupt the Alabama Klan.

When Sessions was later elected as State Attorney General, he followed up on the case, and saw to it that the sentence was carried out - execution in the electric chair on June 6, 1997. It was the only execution of a KKK member during the 20th century for the murder of an African-American.

Sessions was famously low profile during the investigation, which led to the nickname he earned - the Silent Executioner.

...”Sessions was famously low profile during the investigation, which led to the nickname he earned - the Silent Executioner”.....

People would do well to take heed of that fact.

“Supposedly somebody in Little Rock.“

Ah, Little Rock. That’s in Arkansas last time I looked. Clinton fired every single US Attorney there the very first week he took Office. There was quite the to do about it, back in the day.

So please forgive me if I lack confidence in this person assuming this investigation actually exists, of course.

Jeff Sessions has been AG for over a year.

Not

Single

Has
Been
Indicted.

Not

My Dad could have driven to China and back twice.

So allow me to reiterate.

Piss off.

Best,

Thanks for the reminder BeauBo.

I've been afraid to ask him why the big S on his chest is off-center.

Now we know.

Apparently, the E fell off in the wind on his way to CA.

I’ve been following posts on Free Republic for months and there is a segment that are clearly haters. I’m sick of seeing it. Trump and Sessions are just fine. Political drama and head fake is what you are seeing. We’re now starting to see movement. Soon it will be an avalanche and just like NK, the media will be stuck with their mouth’s open because Sessions has not leaked a word and they’ve been focused on Stormy whats-her-face.

Wait, what? When did that happen? Why all the secrecy? What is this person’s name?

Need to know basis. You don't need to know.

If this turns out to be true, I will get in line now to apologize.

I think there is going to be a lot of that.

The Little Rock, Clinton Foundation investigation first started in 2015 under Comey and Lynch. Some time in 2016, Lynch and Comey put the investigation on hiatus because it was an election year. The investigation has started back up under Sessions. I would bet that the same people that Comey and Lynch put in charge of the investigation in 2015 are now in charge again.

One should question if this investigation is another whitewash.

No need to ask forgiveness.

...but the election is this year.

The wise will time their moves, to produce the greatest effects - and make sure that things are wrapped up tight before launching.

Sessions is specifically recused on all matters related to the Clinton Foundation. So it's most likely up to RosenSwamp to "launch". I bet Rod fails to launch.

"I would bet that the same people that Comey and Lynch put in charge..."

I'll take that bet.

I believe it is Corey Hiland, a US attorney Trump selected last year.

From DOJ website, October 10, 2017:

“LITTLE ROCK—Cody Hiland has taken the oath of office to become the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Mr. Hiland was nominated by President Donald Trump on June 29, 2017, and confirmed by the U.S. Senate on September 28, 2017.”

According to Wikipedia, he previously served as legislative liaison and aide to Mike Huckabee. He was recommended for the position of U.S. Attorney by U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton.
