The First is already gone. Ever hear of political correctness? Free speech only exists until you offend one of the power groups.
My Late Mother used to say “You help people who can’t help themselves, not people who won’t help themselves”.
The “you” in her statement was not the Government.
I stand corrected.
There’s about 3% of the people who are on the gov’t dime who are truly needy, and should be helped. We should be the people that help them willingly instead of having the government do it for us. You are entirely correct in that.
