"To ensure compliance, the government of California urges the use of creative surveillance systems to spy on all residents. Utility providers will be obligated to report on violators, and urban retail water suppliers 'shall use satellite imagery, site visits, or other best available technology to develop an accurate estimate of landscaped areas.'”

More, 'Rat On Your Neighbor' Fascism from California!

This is why ‘smart meters’ and appliances with wifi are being pushed. Pretty soon, you’ll get a bill in the mail if you open your fridge too many times, wash and shower on the same day, etc...

I can only guess that Moonbeam WANTS to hurry up the exodus of normal people fleeing the failed state of California, even faster than they already are.

“Writer Daisy Luther notes that an ordinary load of laundry uses about 40 gallons of water.”

Not unless you have a very old washing machine.

HE washers use around 15-20 gallons.

Things are so bad in NY that people are leaving in droves. This prompted Andy Cuomo to contemplate an exodus tax. Those who leave the state will have to pay 50% of their net worth to get “clearance” by the government to exit the state.

If only California were near a large body of water and had 840 miles of coastline.

Yes, desalinization is expensive but it’s certainly far more sensible and ‘sustainable’ than relying on the relative trickle of the Colorado River.

So is there no consideration of how many people live in a house? No company allowed. Cannot go on vacation and bring home 6 loads of laundry to do? I guess you go on vacation to do laundry now.
