Say what you want about Bill Clinton but he’s a gifted politican (corrupt to the core but still, good at politics). He reads the tea leaves WAY better than his stupid whiny entitled wife does. I have zero belief that he really is rooting for Trump. So why say it? His instincts tell him that a success by Trump here would be considered huge by the voters and he doesn’t want to be on record as opposing it. He’s sending a message to other dems to do the same but they are demented and won’t take his advice.

If Hillary is smart, she won’t say anything.
The reason that Clinton (Bill, that is) was successful was that he was pragmatic. When things were against him, he tacked his sails to the wind. Hence the approval of various GOP programs under his watch.
I didn’t like him at all, and he went out of his way to be insulting to social conservatives. But basically he was all about Bill, so even when he was theoretically opposed to something, if he thought it might work to his advantage, he did it. Not saying this was good, but it was sure a lot better and more American than Obama, who ignored all input from any source and just went ahead with his ideological program.

Exactly. Bill wants to get on Trump’s good side when the $hit hits the fan/Hillary.
It’s been in question as to whether Bill gave them outright weapons. But he did give them the supercomputers to raise the level of the cake they have in Korea from industrial grade to weapons grade, (reason for Ron Brown’s death), and, through China, gave them the MRV tracking program so they can sight their missiles. So, he didn’t have his finger on their weapons launching, but he sold them the button and how to use it to hit something manual.

Sometimes i wonder if Hillary was president when he was in office. He acts like a kid in a candy story. Says and does whatever comes to mind while people around him are murdered.
