Nunes almost certainly has the information that he seeks - at this point he’s just figuring out who’s going to get jailed.
OK ... 5 p.m. tomorrow (I presume that’s EDT), Mr. Nunes has one final opportunity to protect and defend the Constitution (i.e., the rule of law). That’s it, then!

They partially responded; he looked to see if what he wanted was in the partial response, and it wasn’t. So he’s giving them util Monday to cough up the rest. Recall that the President can unclassify any and all of these documents in a plenary fashion; our side is playing nice for now but tightening the noose. Ever notice how even CNN is no longer playing the “how many days until impeachment of the Prez” stories anymore?

I’ve shown over and over Congress has NO authority to do anything to DOJ. Impeachment is a long process with seven distinct stages, requiring FULL Senate cooperation. Does anyone see that happening?
Defunding is fine, but can’t be done til next budget cycle.
Either way, DOJ is safe from anything Congress can do for nearly a year.

Why aren’t the democraps angry with the federal government? The democraps claim that Russia hacked the dems servers to Trump’s advantage and thus interfered in US elections. Why didn’t the feds send spies (aka “informants” to the MSM) into the HRC campaign to “protect” her? Doesn’t seem “fair” that Trump was given “protection” and and HRC was not given the same level of protection. Were the feds afraid of a “strong woman” who is not only a victim of Russia interference but also a victim of anti-gender bigotry? /s
Oh, I understand, the democraps are exercising great restraint because no one is allowed to criticize our sacred institutions like the DOJ and FBI because it is an “affront” to “our democracy”. Hence the democraps are not criticizing the DOJ and FBI because they revere the institutions (only when they were in charge of them). /s

That assertion is a little too broad and flippant. It should at least include a qualifying phrase like "subject to Constitutional due process, the Executive powers of the President, and Judicial review by the U.S. Supreme Court."
If Congress did possess the arbitrary power as implied by your statement, then the Constitution would need to be amended to prohibit it, IMHO...

That statement is false. Can Congress imprison the President or a Supreme Court Justice—both if which represent the pinnacle of Coequal branches of Government?
I'm not 100% sure about Supreme Court Justices—I suppose that such a case would hinge on the whim of the President—but given the fact that the President is Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United states, it's unrealistic to assert that Congress can imprison the President (presuming the President doesn't want to be imprisoned).
Indeed, the President can effectively override Congress' power to imprison anyone, if he so desires, by virtue of his plenary authority over the Armed Forces of the United States.
Of course, Congress can try to imprison the President, but—practically speaking—it would fail unequivocally to do so in any Constitutionally legitimate scenario.
Having said all that, it is true that Congress has very significant powers as a Coequal branch of Government. It's a shame that many of the powers you have cited seemed to have fallen into uniform disuse—to the point where it seems that they are little more than symbolic, existing only in the technical sense. In the modern day—perhaps due to the ever-expanding powers of the President—such Congressional powers seem to be reserved only for the most extreme.
Interestingly, however, it appears that the nation is very likely careening directly towards the aforementioned dire circumstances. If that's the case, hopefully Congress will reclaim its cohones and begin aggressively exercising precisely those powers you have so dramatically outlined.
