During the Rodney King riots (which were not about Rodney King but were basically a racist pogrom against the Korean community) Waters virtually said in so many words that the rioters should go and kill Koreans.
There weren’t any pastors around then to apologize for her or criticize her stance.
Trying to make “death threat” sound like something the other side does. If they can get some lefty nuts to buy into it and decide to retaliate in kind (”they do it so we have to”), their supreme court problems can be taken care of.
It doesn’t matter if our side actually does it. Dems just need to make their nuts think we’ll do it to get our way. Then they feel justified in doing it for their side.
