Great scenario! MAGA on steroids, LOL! :)
Well, Duh.
The Deep State, the Enemy Media and the Socialists are truly being exposed for what they really are.
And I’m loving it. Can’t DEFEAT an enemy if you don’t first expose them to the light of day!
Best. Election. Ever. EVER! MAGA! :)
I never had the honor of meeting Sarah but I did meet some ladies who - to this day - remind me of her.
I was in Juneau on a business trip in ‘75, whiling away a few hours in the Hilton lounge. As usual, it was raining outside and people were dashing in to escape the downpour. A group of couples came in wearing suits and gowns, raincoats and rubber boots! The ladies checked their raincoats and headed to the restroom to primp a bit. I noticed the clothespins carefully holding the hems of their dresses and the small handbags each of them carried.
Later, they emerged from the restroom with their beautiful dresses unpinned and wearing more formal footwear, pictures of loveliness as they swept across the room to their admiring escorts.
Since then I’ve seen photos of Sarah wearing ball-gowns and rubber boots (at different times) so it only requires a slight stretch to imagine her as one of those ladies at the Juneau Hilton. Actually, she might have been.
Exactly right. When I lived in Anchorage, we’d take the ski train into the boonies (sometimes having to pee in the snow) in the daytime. The same night we’d be at a ball (World Affairs Ball, I think), in furs and gowns, shoes in our hands to change in to from boots. Sarah was so typical of Alaskan women; I totally “got” her from her first speech.
hmmm...
Here are 4 little squares at #34.
I really wish she’d run in 2024.
Even Churchill was kicked out after he saved his country in WW2.
smh
I think one of the keys to her popularity was her ability to appear ordinary yet special. While others were hiring public affairs specialists to run their lives and make them appear elite, Sarah was - and IS elite!
I can’t fault her for not wanting to stick her head in the lion’s mouth again but she’s the only person I would have voted for rather than Trump.
Sarah was/is a shining star. [sigh] I’m afraid we’ve seen the last of her politically.
Thank you for posting this. I had not read this before, and have also missed Miss Sarah; so much so, that i read most of this a second time.
Great read
Thanks for posting
