I hope someone good steps up to replace Ben Sasse. What do you do when you have a rino vs liberal? When I first voted for him he said all the right things. Now were trying to figure out what is driving him. Pure hatred of Trump or was he playing the part. People I know are not happy with him.

If you haven't watched it yet,
I suggest you watch this by Sasse. He understands the problem, for the life of me I cannot understand why he blames Trump. I never heard him talk about Obama has harshly as he talks about Trump. Trump has always turned to the Legislative Branch first. Only when they can provide no satisfaction does he turn to alternative methods.

Sasse would learn the painful lesson that admiration for his left leaning philosophy is false flattery designed only to tempt him further to the left. Once he is used up he will be nothing better than a spent condom to left or right.

Ben Sasse’s Conservative credentials are pretty impressive. The question is where does he fit in with regards to the Republican party that is not run by Conservatives? His Never Trumpism is quite annoying and he can’t seem to let it go. He suffers from cutting off the nose to spite the face and that is why although he checks all the right conservative boxes, he comes across as a bore in these trying times where he sees the world through the right/left paradigm when it is much bigger than that.

I'm sure if he left the GOP, it would be to become an independent.

Do not overlook the fact that Mittens is lurking in the wings.

Good point. Have to admit that, so far, Rubio has turned out to be surprisingly loyal to Trump.

If Ben Sasse left the GOP, would anyone actually notice? The other big news of the day was the statement by Nebraskas RINO Senator Ben Sasse that I consider leaving the Republican Party every day, as if anyone didnt already know hes a liberal dressed in a conservative suit. Ben Sasse needs to resign and run as a democrat or as an independent. We don't need his type in our party. He want's out? We'll hold the door.

I might be like the Democrats leaving Reagan, but we haven't seen Sasse do any audacious yet.
