I may have to give him that one. Many low skilled Americans have been on welfare for generations. They make more than minimum wage, sometimes MUCH more, by gaming the system. The “jobs Americans won’t do” used to be done by Americans prior to “The Great Society”.

But what can we expect when they still call Robert Byrd, former KKK Grand Dragon, “the conscience of the Senate”? No conservative would get away with that. He needs a crash course in ginning cotton. It's not particularly labor intensive. I can't imagine why you'd need to import anyone to work a cotton gin.
The reality that no one talks about is that employers hire Hispanics because they are good workers and don't make trouble. They respect management and are willing to work long hours without squawking.
Many (most?) young Blacks are often full of theatrics, drama, and a lot of mouth. Question any of their shortcomings and you will be sucked into some long complex, baroque improbable story about why they were late, didn't show up, didn't finish their task, broke the tools, etc. And they require musical accompaniment to whatever chore they are tasked with. Earbuds and cell phones are ubiquitous. Signifying and trash talking and bitching are their specialties.
There is a 20th century term that has fallen out of favor: uppity. Hispanics aren't uppity.

George Allen handled that “macaca” issue the way so many Republicans yield to “the democracy.”

Two points:
1. Increase the pay.
2. It’s not just black men. It’s all of us. And that means women who would like to have a husband and children who would like to have a father.
I’m sorry about all those people in foreign countries, but my allegiance is to this country and that means to my fellow Americans.
Let us complete this path that Trump has set us on, of revving up the economy, and reserving the jobs that are created for our people, until we have redeemed the promise. Then, with a wall, and with replacing chain migration with merit-based migration, we can consider what to about the illegals who are here and who have been waiting patiently overseas.
Oh, one more thing, Beto lies about people wanting to come here to work or “be with their families.” Some come here to work, but not all. Many come here for the benefits. If Beto wants to join Trump in shifting from chain migration to merit, he should say so. Chain migration means you bring your elderly parents here, and uncles and aunts, cousins, etc., so they can get SSI, Medicare, etc. Beto knows this and yet wants to make it seem that he’s talking about something else.
