Well, despite all the nay-saying going here, I’m taking this as good news albeit guardedly.
It ain’t over till the fat lady sings but she is warming up. :)
The Rats are backed into a corner, they know that if their base isn’t fired up, they won’t do well in the midterms.
On the other hand, to keep their base, they are driving away the independents.
Even if Flake does vote yes my opinion of him will NOT change.

Flake, Collins & Murkowski think they own the Senate majority because nothing passes without their OK.

In this case, I bet they’re not going to give up even AFTER they lose, and try and destroy Justice Kavanaugh any way they can.
Hopefully, this will upset Ruth Ginsburg so much that she’ll drop dead - giving Trump ANOTHER Supreme Court seat to fill. That should be delicious - because the RATS aren’t capable of trying to destroy two people at the same time.

There’s NO imaginable use for Jeff Flake after he leaves office.
Nothing is over until the votes are counted. The Unreliables should be sequestered until Saturday, and Pence should be waiting in the wings, just in case.

Right now, the Dims are desperately scrambling to find another “victim” to conjure up some more allegations, before the vote.
Fingers and toes crossed and thanks to Graham, McConnell, Grassley and Trump for showing tremendous backbone during this spectacle. And prayers up for the Kavanaugh family that they can somehow recover from this lynching.
I am still laying odds that a claim of pedophile comes out before the cloture vote.
