NO ONE has a right to a White House press pass. Hell, no NETWORK has such a right. They have a 1st Amendment right to speak or write, but not to be in a particular location at a particular time.

The case will be tossed on every single level for failure to state a claim. The attorneys involved should be brought up on ethics charges for abusing the legal system by filing a case known to be without merit.

Likewise, Acosta is not being charged with a crime, so I don’t exactly see how this is a Fifth Amendment issue.

The Fifth Amendment also prohibits the taking of property without due process. Apparently, CNN believe that the press pass, once issued, creates a protected property right.

Whether it is abortion, gay rights, illegal voting or in this case White House privileges, are constitutional rights but rights enumerated, such as the 2nd Amendment aren’t really in the Constitution because they don’t wish they were in the document.
