Wrong. Prosecutors lose their license by overstepping.

Nope. Not in the federal system. They are promoted and paid big bucks.

I suggest you read License to Lie by Sidney Powell.

Here is an excerpt from one review at Amazon.com: As a federal criminal defense attorney for nearly 20 years, this book resounded LOUDLY with me. The acts of the U.S. Attorney that she describes are endemic. I have been lied to, threatened with bar complaints and had complaints made to judges behind my back, all for trying to provide a zealous defense to my client. Everything Sidney Powell says here is true.

The prosecutors who abused the system for political purposes in the Senator Stevens and Enron fiascos infest the Muller investigation.

One of the worst is Andrew Weissman.

Wrong. Prosecutors lose their license by overstepping. See Nifong. You don’t throw out the whole effective system of law enforcement because of a bad apple.

So when can we expect Mueller and his band of ‘RATS to lose their licenses?

Over 99% of all criminal cases are filed and prosecuted by state and local prosecutors not federal people like Weissman, mueller etc.

Federal cases are largely either political or terrorist cases. The issue of prosecutorial misconduct is different than what occurs nationwide. You cannot accuracies equate the two as being the same.

It is foolish to destroy effective law enforcement over a handful of bad apples.

Whole lot of prosecutors deserve a good dragging behind an old Chevy pick em up truck down a long rocky road.
Too many judges should be also.

Howdy Sam

Well, the “real world” results of unfettered, unaccountable prosecutorial discretion has, quite naturally, led to Robert Mueller and his band of merry coup-makers. That’s just what is seen; there are just occasional peeks at the huge numbers and nature of the abuses inflicted upon the American public by out-of-control, unaccountable prosecutors.

I would remind you that the vast majority of these prosecutors are Leftists of one stripe or another. They are also, regardless of their personal politics, generally attempting to “make their bones” with some notorious case or series of cases, so that they can ride their fame up the escalator of political power.

You clearly have no problem with all of this - it is fine and dandy for you. Well, I might be a bit naive as to how the criminal part of our judicial system (note that I did not say, “system of justice” - because it is anything BUT that), but what you are backing is among the most immoral things that one can imagine in a representative republic - unaccountable people. You back nothing less than a usurpation of the authority of the people by skilled bureaucrats. I’ll put my naivete on the scale with what you back - any time.

If a prosecutor is convicted of framing an innocent person who spends 20+ years in prison might get a one week sentence.

The prosecutors who frame Ted Stevens got slaps on the hands; although one of them committed suicide. He probably didn’t realize his career as a federal prosecutor was safe.

As I recall, he believed he was set up to take the fall.

He was a patsy, IMHO.

Immunity isn't the same thing as bulletproof.

You really can’t afford too many more complaints to Jim Robinson can you?
