As far as I’m concerned ANY government employee is under oath as soon as they raise their hand and take the oath of office. And ever after. Military service is different than a civilian, for example, in that many civil liberties enjoyed as a civilian are not enjoyed when in the employ of Uncle Sam.
Politicians and government employees - from the lowliest seniority congressional staffer to the the highest levels, should be on the hook 24/7/365
They WANTED the job. Hold them accountable, responsible, and liable for their misdeeds. Yank their pensions, and throw them in prison. Government service is a good gig, and there are way too many people who have abused the system.
Notice there is no “swearing out” ceremony, if you will. These people are weasels, and make a mockery of selfless, dedicated service that was the hallmark of good government. What an asshole.
If you are a Democrat, it’s okay to lie period but if you are a Republican it’s also okay to lie unless your lie contradicts a Democrat lie.
Finally, it’s always okay to lie when you are a minority protected by your color, gender or outright ignorance.
Sad but so true.
Sure it is... you’re just going to have to lay a hand to help out when it does come.
But anyone can be charged with “lying to the FBI” for the most b.s. of reasons....
