Of course that was it.
He was expecting a warm reception from all those never-Trumpers that must still be out there.
They would all cheer and Romney would have his very own Mormon sect.
Oops.
He forgot about his tin ear.
Now he will be all shamed-faced in his Senate debut. Luckily his experience as a missionary prepared him for moments like this.
Romney probably wanted to make himself the center of attention and to lay first claim to McCain’s slot as the Trump contra.
Just imagine all the Sunday morning news shows. The 24-7 adoring reference by the MSM.
He will suddenly matter. He will be Mr. Big.
Romney better know this-——he did not meet our expectations as a presidential candidate running against the Halfrican phony.
Mittens is a pitiful carpetbagger who deserves no pity.
“I remember no one wanted to vote for him, or McCain.”
And, next up for the DS was low-energy Jeb, which was to be a hand-off to Hillary.
BUT, she didn’t say his content was wrong. Just that he did it.
What a loser on display, pathetic. He is no stateman and is no big deal so he needs to put his tail between his legs, shut up, and support the President who the people support, not him.
The balkanization of America and Mexico's stealth colonization of California may be one of the few scenarios that would advance his prospects. His father George Romney was born in the Mormon settlement in Mexico with Mormon self-exiles who rejected America. And many Mormons still view Mexico especially favorably. Mexico is home to the largest population of Mormons (as high as 1.2 million) outside the US.
I have to gives props and credit to Mittens. If it weren’t for him being such a gutless, feckless and worthless “republican” candidate in 2012, we would NOT have had the benefit of President Donald J. Trump and his beautiful wife in OUR White House, today. Thanks, Mittens! Now,take a hike!
ROTFLOL......priceless.
LOL----good one.
Given the political choice between one who is pius and one who is the pragmatist always go for the pragmatist IMO. The dems have been doin this for years. Witness Clinton and Ted Kennedy. Ironically when writing the constitution those at that time believed that unethical or immoral types would withdraw from appointed posts. That was how they viewed the mores of the time. I wish it were not so but our fabric has been frayed so much so that we MUST change with the times or be doomed.
Mutt is not a viable candidate, he is a DOA candidate.
So whatever happened to Candy Crowley?
Musta forgot to wear his Holy Underwear.
Romney, already a confirmed loser, is now a confirmed Flake. It doesn’t get any worse.
What's worse is that he is Flake II, not even good enough to keep his namesake.
