The left should tred very lightly here... I heard a saying a few years ago that rang some truth... “When white makes riot... contenants burn”...
Perhaps overly dramatic... but I dare say... If the left tried such... it will ignite a firestorm from sea to shining sea...
They really have no clue what they are provoking...
That slipped genocidal rage mask of the left is precisely why President Trump continues to be vilified over Charlottesville because he firmly fixed the spotlight on Antifa as the violent and murderous scum they are.
For blacks to support leftist candidates at a 75-80% rate vs. a 90% rate sows the seeds of destruction for their party, and they know it.
They are corrupt, hypocritical, and often outright stupid, but overall for their goals they aren't stupid, and they see the writing on the wall and are turning to finding ways to stretch the interval until the Left fails to be wholly viable.
They are attacking the process on every angle they can find, from gerrymandering, ballot harvesting, stretching out or ignoring ballot counting intervals, to advocating for the easing of any controls on voting by supporting efforts in the effort to stretch their political nourishment just a little bit longer.
And of course, this doesn't take into account the ongoing efforts to litigate and corrupt the voting process with voter fraud.
They want to make it as easy as possible to cast a ballot in as many ways and over the longest intervals of time that they can. They want to confuse and obfuscate the handling of physical ballots, because the more pathways there are, the more chinks in the armor of a valid and legal voting process may be found. Everything from carloads of ballots that turn up at the last minute, to a mail process that can be subverted to their advantage, to simply resisting the requirement of valid voter ID and cleansing of the voter rolls.
The key thing with all of these things mentioned is that they require manual intervention of people, almost always intervention of people who believe in "the cause". And there will always be a bottomless supply of those people, primarily young people who don't have the life experiences necessary to understand the issues at an intellectual level, so they rely on emotional framing of those issues, which almost always results in the wholesale acceptance of the Leftist agenda.
Which is why we are at a disadvantage when we reject the "hive mentality" of the Left. But it is part and parcel of who we are, and generally, conservatives are far more principled about these kinds of things.

This is the concluding paragraph of my piece:
“The beginning of Civil War Two will definitively mark the end of the era of political correctness, and the artificial sense of superiority that PC brought to the Left by diminishing the audible voice of conservativism. Kipling’s Gods of the Copybook Heading will once again reassert their eternal rules over mankind. In the end, cold reality and natural law will prevail over Leftist social deconstruction and utopian fantasy. When it comes to High Noon on Main Street, when the fight boils down to scoped precision rifles against machetes at one hundred yards, I would not bet on the machete-wielders to prevail. No matter how angry or numerous they are today.”
We all seem to be striking a “kill whitey” genocide chord today.

That Charlottesville incident is the one thing which worries me about my Representative. I get a newsletter from him every week or so.
He, Gaetz condemned the “White Nationalists” right afterwards. I sent him an email complaining that, first, I had no idea what a White Nationalist was and two, he did not condemn the Antifa crowd.
He never replied.
I got another one recently where he condemned White Nationalists again.
Overall he is one of the best in Congress but I suspect the fact that he did not grow up in the Florida Panhandle gave him a false idea of what is going on in the country.
