Did anyone notice that the chef started out with five (5) pieces of chicken, and ended up with four (4)?
Ahh! I was waiting to see if anybody noticed that. Okay, what happened is that the "chef" initially started out with 5 pieces on Tuesday but had the heat on turned up TOO HIGH for his cast iron skillet. The result was 5 pieces of burnt chicken. They tasted good on the inside but the skin was definitely a charred flavor.
Then the chef fried up 4 more pieces the next day but this time with the heat turned much lower and the chicken came out just right.
Rather than redo the entire video, he just edited in the final part with the 4 pieces that ended up not burnt.
A Brownie Point to you for your observational powers. I was waiting to see if anyone noticed. :-)
It’s been fun!
We have had more than our usual snow amount...usually I use the snowblower from once to 10 times each season. I’ve used it three times this last week alone.
Thursday I finished removing 18” of snow from the driveways (one 90’ the other 600’) at 3:00 PM and took a shower. Started snowing again while I was in the shower and we had another good 6”. Our roads are getting narrower as well but thanks to the snowblower our driveways are full width. :-)
It was -20 this AM but it’s -5 now and we’ll be grilling a roast outside as we have some guests coming over. Nice grilling weather!
