My mother passed away right before 9/11.
I am so sorry you lost her but I bet you two will be together again someday. Prayers for you.
We have lost all 4 parents, and truly understand.

I have been there, and can say honestly that in time it does not get “better” but it will get easier.
You have your own path and schedule ahead, don’t let anyone tell you that anyone but you can know what that is, can know how to feel, where to be, what to do, when to do it - it is all however YOU sense it needs to be; with His help and blessing.

My Father passed away in December. He had dementia and needed 24 hour care. The sentiment that gave me the most solice at that time was from a caregiver who told me “Your father was suffering, now he is at peace”.
I am sorry for your loss. Losing a Mom is a tough one.

Mom died 35 years ago; father and wife died eight years ago. You never get over it; you get used to it. Prayers through difficult times.
