And there are still lines around the corner at all of the Chick-Fil-A restaurants here in the DC area.
Side note - I am addicted to Frosted Lemonades. I do not know what they put in them.

I flew through Atlanta two weeks ago and went to a competing restaurant, with no lines, because the Chick-Fil-A was an insane line and I had a flight.
But nobody else in that airport had that kind of line.
Until the last three years or so, we didn’t have any here in Minnesota. Now they can be found in many of the 2nd and 3rd ring suburbs. In the past if I wanted one, I had to content myself with visiting one when in Florida or at Atlanta airport.
What I like most about them is that they’re clean and you don’t get any ‘hood attitude from the employees when you’re there.
There’s a handful of companies that I just decline to do business with because of their stance. Kind of a “nah, I’ll pass. thank you anyways” kind of thing. Some I will bend my stance on, some I won’t. I won’t for Ben & Jerry’s for example, because they are truly evil. There is one company however, that I truly loathe. They are the vile of the vile. Their smug self righteousness while seeking to profit off the deaths of innocent kids, along with other atrocities, has permanently put them in my “DO NOT GO” list. Dick’s. I will not do business with them, no matter the cost to me.
Are they publicly traded?
Yes, and they can complain about the "bullying" that they have had to endure; but, then turn around and become the very bullies that they complain about.

It’s not just the good food. Staff is clean, respectful and helpful. You can look at them and tell they’re gonna do something with their lives...not just sling chicken/burgers forever. You can also tell...there’s zero discrimination in the company’s hiring practices.
The 2 I’m most familiar with have double drive-by lanes with huge waits in each lane and outdoor people taking orders in each lane. Oh if you go inside you wait as well.
One must ask the question: Does McDonald’s and Starbucks put money into destroying Chick-Fil-A through LGBTQDFERCNHY protest organizers because Chick-Fil-A is catching up with their market share?
I honestly don’t even care about the owner’s beliefs. The restaurants are clean, the food is good and the service is excellent. That’s what I care about and that’s what keeps me coming back.
If one believes (and I do) that homosexuality is a form of mental illness or, at the very least, a hormonal imbalance (or the result of one) then the hypercomplexity of human anatomy, physiology, endocrinology and other processes would almost certainly suggest that there are ‘side effects’ or additional imbalances, disorders, etc. of a psychological nature.
In other others, it’s rare for a tiny part of the brain to be dysfunctional without other parts (not necessarily adjacent) to be dysfunctional as well. The rates of smoking, drug and alcohol use, depression, self-harm, etc. bear this out and even if we accept a portion of their claim that they are social pariahs driven to physically destructive behavior, that leaves a much larger portion tied directly to their physiopsychology.
In gays this manifests itself in a vindictive pack mentality poorly disguised as ‘pride.’ Their poor self-image is, as you say, blamed on everyone and everything apart from themselves.

we have a $25 gift card for CFLA got it at Christmas, every time we try to use it the line is two long (we only have 1 where I live and I don’t wait for food).
None around here (Maine) but I’ve eaten at a few at airport locations. Excellent fare. Wish we’d get one here.
Had a discussion with a liberal friend of mine just the other day, and he made a point about he won’t eat at Chick-Fil-A, because of their “agenda”.
I pointed out that they are by far the best service in the fast food industry and some of the best food as well.. to which he tried to poo poo... bah, what quality what service its “fast food”.. I can get that at BK.. To which I laughed and said, only someone who has NEVER been to Chick-Fil-A could remotely think that BK (or any other chain) offers anything close... He kept on his dismissive tirade, until his adult daughter finally piped up and said, there is no doubt they have the BEST service in the industry, and damn good food... And she then went on and started to explicitly list how they were superior in both in detail... He kind of just grumbled a bit after that and changed the topic.
As far as I’m concerned, let the leftists stay out of Chick-Fil-A, places are packed and super busy as it is, so if they want to settle for BK slop and think they are on par... let em.
But I did find it funny, his own very liberal daughter, laid the smack down on him.
