Id fly on one. As long as they gave me a parachute.
Every military jet in recent times is that way, IIRC.
The problem is that at a certain altitude for that to work. IIRC, All the problems occurred when the plane was too close to the ground to correct for the problem.
Instead of a parachute, perhaps a prayer shawl and a Bible might be better safety equipment.
It was tongue-and-cheek. I would fly one as long as the pilot was Mercian.
I even hear that Canucks, Aussies, Kiwis and even 'Murcans make good, professional pilots!
Government contracts.
Such as the KC-46 that the Air Force keeps refusing deliveries of because of quality issues. (The defective refueling system appears to be acceptable, however). And politically fueled purchases of outdated fighters and less than suitable anti-submarine warfare platforms.

I do like their cure for the self-igniting 787s. Cut some holes so the smoke vents to the exterior instead of into the cabin, so the passengers don’t complain. And a heavier fire resistant battery case so the fire doesn’t spread to the rest of the plane.
Other than that and a bumpy ride, the plane does have some nice features.
The MAX will resume flying in early October. The flights will be empty, but they will resume flying. :)
