My response was meant to point out that there are a lot more repair parts available for the 10/22 than for the discontinued Nylon 66.

I used to have a Nylon 66 in Apache Black, but sold it decades ago. It’s a great little rifle that I believe still holds the record for continuous shots fired without a malfunction.

I still prefer the 10/22, however, as my “if I could only have one .22” rifle.

I agree that in 22 LR there are plenty of other weapons. I have been he Savage A22 in 22 Magnum.

It stands alone as a reasonable priced semi auto in 22WMR.
