An adult cat slaps the crap out of a puppy and it us considered badass?

Every day I see “hilarious” videos of cats clawing dogs in the face and eyes.

Not sure what kind of mind finds that amusing but it’s probably not a very good one.

That’s ok. I had a dog that killed badass feral cats on a regular basis. 2 seconds or less, and it was over. To quick to stop her once she started. What can I say, she was a natural hunter. Very sweet girl though.

Just try posting a video of *that* on the internet and watch what happens, though.

No idea why cats hurting dogs is just fine and dandy.

This damn thing has popped up on my feed ten times in the last couple days...cat claws the dog right in the eye and everyone thinks it's freaking hilarious.

The reaction of the dog is obvious PAIN.

You’re right. I would never let my pets behave like that. The dog could have been blinded, or gotten a terrible infection. People can be so callous.

My poor Djinni the Ibizan Hound got corneal ulcers from fiberglass exposure when she was about 2 years old.

Not only was it expensive to treat, it was horrible agony for her until we got them under control.

She spent the next 12 years vision impaired because of the scarring.

It tore me apart.

All it takes it a “little damage” to an eye...

Not surprisingly, controlling cattle was their original purpose.

Trust me, if they’re badass enough (like a tortie), it don’t matter what age the dogs are.

I get your point but it looks like the cat got the nose just under the eye. Personally, I think the dog’s reaction is more in the line of “WTF? I was sleeping!”

Cat woke him up and popped him. That’s just mean.

Watch it again.
Direct hit to the eye.
That version is small but the only one I could find.
The ones popping up on FB are larger.
I hate it like poison.

As I mentioned, one of my dogs had eye injury and her reactions were identical to that dog’s.

And I know she was in a lot of pain.

Mashed potatoes are just guacamole for the Irish.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
