Yep - if they really wanted to save a lot more lives, they could lock us down every Flu season and make a real difference...
Can’t fix stupid and there’s a lot of it out there....Uh oh - I just sneezed...time to panic....

Yawn.
I’m nowhere near old enough for it to be a problem and I won’t even notice the disease if I get it.

Panic at someone in a nursing home.

Act now? The time to act to protect yourself should have happened years ago.

Prepping away, medicines, food stores to keep you from having to go out into the masses is smart

Our medical system can have no problems at all, because the only countries which have had any problems dealing with Wuhan Flu have single payer socialized medicine.

Hell, carry a squirt bottle of Clorox and squirt everything down before touching it.

Wait, might want to take a couple of them with you at a time. Maybe get a cross draw holster.

Better yet, one of those back pack sprayers filled with Clorox.

Too much work. I trust that I am clean and wash my hands but I don’t trust that anybody else does.

Korea gave everyone masks, closed schools, practiced social distancing, tracked the infected and their contacts.

They acted EARLY to limit infections. They have prevented an overload to their healthcare system. That is why they have few deaths.

The main point is to delay the spread of the disease through social isolation. That allows our medical systems to deal with it without overflowing.

Slow the spread!

Wash your hands
Avoid crowds
Don't touch your face
If you are sick stay home

No powdered eggs either.

Probably just as well...

I’ve never seen this much panic before. People are going nuts (my wife included).

If she is wrong, you can always eat or donate your mistake.

If she is right, everyone will complain about not getting enough.

I see this as prudence. China lies, our CDC is inept, our politicians are corrupt. It is up to the American people, individually to beat this thing.

Which is why I saw my doctor and had my routine tests done weeks ago....Got my new glasses....and reviewed my personal and household needs and in general took care of business. It is called common sense.

We have to fly on Tuesday and I already have a small bottle filled with a Clorox solution to wipe down everything around our seats.

I checked on Amazon; she’s right. You can’t buy powdered milk; it’s not a thing anymore.

That's too bad. In my bachelor days, I used to cook recipes from a book called "Good Food on a Budget". One of its recommendations was to always have a box of powdered milk on hand. If you were out of real milk, it would do in a pinch for most recipes that required milk. It's not fit to drink IMO, but it works in cooking. I am sure a lot of prepackaged mixes (soups, sauces, etc) include it still.
