It’s not. It’s for everyone that filed a tax return. So in the case of a joint filer, it’s one per household. In the case of my 19 y/o son who hasn’t had to file a tax return yet, he’s not included.
And make it based on “need and family size.”

Yes, we are already talking about it.
But loans won’t do the trick. They really need to do something that put the cash back into the pockets of small businesses that all of them can access.
The MAGA boom for the past few years means a lot of small start-up companies with great ideas are floundering or sinking due to the actions of government lock-downs and closures. Many of these start-ups can’t manage any more extended credit/loans, but were close to the 3 year flip of making things work.
I have been checking the SBA Disaster Loan site for when it will be available in my area as Governor Dewine is shutting everything down...so far there’s no access due to Covid-19. My ancillary travel business was feeling this with cancellations long before the mayhem we have now.

I am holding my payment the full 90 free days. Due to government interference in the operations of numerous industries I will pay you when I can.
If that is more than you have sent to Treasury I’ll just keep mine since I’ve sent them a hell of a lot more than that. Gotta work to earn it to pay taxes on it.
I understand. That’s why I think we need something like the Marshal Plan right now—cash to keep small businesses afloat—cash that will not be repaid. The success of these businesses on the other side of this crisis will be payment enough.
