America’s major medical society specializing in the treatment of respiratory diseases has endorsed using hydroxychloroquine for seriously ill hospitalized coronavirus patients. The American Thoracic Society issued guidelines Monday that suggest COVID-19 patients with pneumonia get doses of the anti-malaria drug.
How effing obtuse can Fauci and those other naysayers could possibly be? Navarro brought the documented evidence with him and STILL Fauci and Co. are calling it "anecdotal." People are dying because there's otherwise no treatment, HC is proving to be a solid therapy, and Fauci sits on his little throne (his feet not touching the ground, obviously) dismissively sniffing at it as just nonsense. Bet that if HE came up positive, he'd be demanding an HC treatment protocol for himself.

Who said it wasn’t being used? It’s been used very widely throughout the pandemic. It doesn’t need to be greenlighted by the FDA, there’s not obstacle to its employment.
It’s just that it doesn’t cure people. People are still sick and still dying. That’s kind of all you need to know. I have no problem with people taking modestly effective palliatives.
Why this has become such a bugaboo is what I don’t understand.
No one is saying not to use this. They’re just saying we also need to work on an actual cure and a vaccine. Use it all you want.
The tide is turning on this one luckily.
As was posted on FR, in the last few hours, The American Thoracic Society has just gone on record recommending the use of hydroxychloroquine/Zpac & zinc in COVID-19 patients with pneumonia.
That will give confidence & cover to doctors who wanted to prescribe the therapy but were constrained by their State society and will cut the legs out from under the naysayers who were using the issue to attack POTUS instead of looking out for the welfare of patients.

I think we are not communicating. The drug combo works. They stopped the trial in France because it worked so well it was inhumane to place patients on the non-treatment arm.
The American Thoracic Society just issued a statement recommending the triple therapy be used in COVID-19 patients. The Italians are using it to great success. Lenox Hill hospital says it is very effective in the hospitals in their consortium and they have used it in more than 1000 patients. There are many other groups of physicians in multiple countries including Australia who are using it and reporting great success.
In looking for centers with positive results for the triple therapy you are spoiled for choice.

Thank you, this is good news. I’m supportive of taking proper precautions in testing medications for safety and efficacy (Thalidomide, DES, etc.), but those politicking in an attempt to make POTUS look dangerously bad are on the wrong side of this.
