These situations seem to crop up on a four-year cycle that somehow magically happens to be a Presidential election year. Doesn't this make one wonder........
Deploy the rooftop Koreans.
Thats the story of Philadelphia neighborhoods, since the early 70s.
The cops are not protecting and serving.
They are aiding and abetting.
They are serving as the publicly paid bodyguards for the anarchists.
Yep. A long hot summer indeed. And for the younger folks that weren’t around in 1968, also an election year, the resulting unrest didn’t turn-out well for Dems. Nixon was elected, yes, that Nixon.
Let’s see, DFL governor, DFL mayor, black police chiefit’s Trump’s fault!
I looked it up - it has been 45+ years since Minneapolis has had a Republican mayor.
1968, also an election year, the resulting unrest didnt turn-out well for Dems. Nixon was elected, yes, that Nixon.
It's not murder; it's justifiable homicide (and a public service).

John Rieple: Cadillac Pawn & Jewelry Owner Booked on Murder Accusation

John Rieple, the owner of Cadillac Pawn & Jewelry, a store in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been booked on a murder accusation after a man was found dead of a gunshot wound on a sidewalk near Rieples business, according to Hennepin County jail records.
The shooting came amidst a night of major unrest in Minneapolis following the Monday death of George Floyd after a police officer restrained Floyd with a knee pressed to his neck. Anger over Floyds death spilled into the streets, as people looted and torched businesses. Videos showed heavy looting at Rieples store. A graphic video, which you can watch later in this article, shows the shooting aftermath outside Cadillac Pawn & Jewelry, but be aware that its very disturbing. In that video, bystanders claim someone was shooting from the pawn shop, which police havent confirmed.
Rieples arrest came after Libor Jany, a journalist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reported, via a police source, that Rieple had shot and killed a suspected looter at his business. Police confirmed in their first press conference on the shooting that they were investigating the theory that the owner of the Cadillac Pawn & Jewelry store shot a suspected looter, but they said they were also investigating other theories they wouldnt describe. Police spokesman John Elder confirmed at midnight that one person was in custody and one person was dead but named neither.
Elder also said he believes Minnesotas duty to retreat law means a businessowner doesnt have a right to defend their property with lethal force because its not their home. You can read more about the duty to retreat law here.
I imagine half the stuff in Cadillac Pawn was once the property of the bruthas who “liberated” it during the riot. Or of the white folks in nearby neighborhoods and briefly managed by the bruthas.
A lot of these rioters are white. Social justice/antifa types. Or guys looking for cheap TVs.
Yeah, there was whites looting with blacks. And I’ll bet you’re right that they were antifa types, prolly bused in.
Good!!
