AND it suggests that this was not a racial incident.

~~~
Technically correct!
Thank you for that comment. I was trying to put my finger on the one thing that changed by this when I wrote my reply but mentally skipped it, but it’s probably the most salient.
The problem is that it doesn’t solve the distrust people feel for police they can abuse their positions of power to settle personal grudges, the only difference is that this particular case now doesn’t appear to be specifically a hate crime. That just doesn’t change the fears that black people have of the police, because George Floyd was black, regardless of the whether he was targeted or biased against because of it.
Does that mean I’m against the police or think they should be de-funded? No! Exactly the opposite, and burning buildings only re-enforces the logical need for a way to stop civil destruction and crime.
All those pundits who said they have no doubt in their mind that George Floyd wouldn’t have suffered that treatment if he was white, may have been wrong. Go figure. Even I believed that was very very likely true.
There seems to be more footage re: the car filming it, etc., that suggests this could have been a false flag more than anything—which would make this personal beef story a very limited hangout.
If true, it would support upping the Murder in the Second Degree to Murder in the First Degree, wouldn’t it?
There were posts here on FR that said Chauvin and Floyd both worked at the same nightclub and had issues. Those posts were within two or three days of Floyd's death.
I'm not sure if GP was the source for those posts or not. In any case, it indicates that FR is often far ahead of the lamestream media on these issues.
Exactly ,
Radical America hater Antifa and Muslim Brother member / supporter Keith is withholding evidence to
push this false narrative until November .
The real story will come out after the election if Trump and DOJ lets this slip .
I smell trouble for the Dnc and Dnc media election narrative .
So they murdered him slowly in broad daylight in front of an audience armed with cameras? I think they would have just shot him in a dark alley with no witnesses, no evidence, and no leads to follow...
Now you are talking sense.
I think so. Definitely. Intent and pre-meditation.
The defense could argue that he never thought it would result in death, but then prosecution could easily use that to say he intended to inflict pain, suffering, and humiliation. I think you’re right. This is not a good development for the defense.
So it’s not just a matter of police brutality targeting blacks.
Imagine that.........
We all know the Knee and not checking the pulse was extreme but why?
That explains why the DA is charging so high. The bar owner and a co-worker with more info against Chauvin.
Gut feeling tells me there is even more to the story then just butting heads.
A video (video where Floyd is put in a sitting position on the sidewall against a store wall) show Chauvin partner put something in his let pocket from either Floyd pocket or something that fell onto the sidewalk from Floyd.
“According to a former coworker? Is that right up there with sources close to the President??”
You have to go to real news sources not gateway pundit. Gateway left out a bunch of stuff. The other news sources state two names one the bar owner (Maya Santamaria) and another co-worker (David Pinney).
Police Officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd during an arrest for passing a bad $20 dollar bill.
Guess with all the drugs and virus in his body had nothing to do with it.?
“Floyd wasn’t suffocated. He was mouthing off until he went quiet and started foaming at the mouth.
Foaming at the mouth, unconsciousness, and high levels of fentanyl indicates the Floyd died due to a drug overdose.
The question is: would the police have noticed that Floyd was overdosing if the police didn’t have to also keep watch on the antagonistic bystanders?”
You hit the question I had over a week ago. It appear Chauvin and the Asian officer were watching the bystanders more then Floyd.
The missing body cam footage will be key to this case. That Asian guy had a body cam pointed toward the back seat of the car.
If Floyd is seen in the video fighting in back of the car and crawling out the other door by his own (nobody pulling him out) the Defense has a good case. If not the DA has a good case.
You would think that somebody in the media would be interested in where Floyd obtained a counterfeit bill.
They may have paid him in cash but it is doubtful they would have paid him in product (counterfeit bills). Too easy to track back to source.
Which changes the nature of the incident a bit, doesn’t it?
Maybe that constitutes first degree.
There are going to be a lot of rumors and guessing about this case for a while. I won’t believe anything until the trial. If it’s presented in court, and can be proven, okay.
Is it the same bar owner that came out initially and said that she had no clue whether or not they knew each other she knew they both worked there but she wasn’t sure they ever met, is that the same one who is now saying they bumped heads??
Not St. George!
I heard about this over a week ago. The media in this country is complicit.
There is a section of Seattle right now that has declared independence from the US (Capital Hill). Went to the local news channel (KIRO) and they characterize it as ‘Local group protecting Capital Hill neighborhood’.
The group in question is actually going house to house and making them acknowledge the group is the new government.
Unbelieveable.
So, you’re saying it isn’t? You have information that we don’t have?
