The question about Trump’s taxes was particularly revealing since that story was intentionally released by the NYT just prior to the debate. It was a tactic designed to hurt Trump and Wallace was happy to use it. In effect he was a pawn in then NYT’s scheme to get Trump.
For that alone, Fox should fire him.

I’m glad Trump was his usual self and showed that he is the Alpha Male in the room, while biden was a whining incompetent old fool.
I have been saying all year that the left inflated cv19 so they could blame it on Trump, that they organized, and promoted the riots so they could blame Trump, they allowed the fires to burn so they could blame them on Trump.
At least one more major crisis is planned for October. And will be blamed on Trump.
Why did Trump agree to having Wallace as the moderator in the first place?
I believe he realized that early on but successfully planted seeds to biden’s base (biden has abandoned you) and the middle (biden loves the New Green Deal and is a socialist).
I agree - Trump beat the crap out of him. No, it wasn’t pretty, the left will say “un-presidential” - I call it REAL. PDJT was confronted with all the propaganda garbage the left could throw at him, all their lies, repeated and supported by the ‘moderator’.
SO PDJT does what he does, comes out fighting, not taking any garbage from anyone. He saw Wallace was biased and called him out, at which point the correct thing to do is say what you have to say and ignore the attempt to control him.
Wallace was a disgrace. That said, PDJT got Biden to surrender on many issues that the left is not going to like - he practically abandoned their causes in front of the whole nation.
It was beautiful, PDJT accomplished exactly what he wanted. The media is never going to be fair to him so why bother?
This is what the Fox moderators stole from the candidates and the viewers on Thursday night. They usurped the role of rebuttal and made the candidates individually argue their positions with themselves instead of the other candidates. And then knowing this was going to be the format, they staged meaningless personal questions that had no viable rebuttal opportunities from the other candidates.What candidate is going to interject in the middle of a crude mysogeny question? What candidate is going to rebut an "any word from God" question? What candidate is going to jump into Megyn Kelly's question to Jeb Bush that "your brother's war was a mistake" or the Bush dynasty question?
There were a half-dozen questions where one candidate was asked to attack another candidate.
With questions like that, how can we truly see the positions of each candidate? When the questions are lowball and undeserving of the stature of Governors, Senators, and business leaders, then why should we take seriously the fallout from such a farce.
