Roberts plays for Team GOP. Cruz is wrong to say it’s personal here. Roberts objects on policy grounds. He’d be just fine with POTUS if he followed the open borders GOPe corportist agenda.

it is tragic the way Roberts has been trashing the constitution he’s sworn to uphold
but it is just plain sad if he’s doing it for some sort of weird kind of “personal dislike” of the sitting president. An independent judiciary is supposed to not have such irrelevant or petty influences at play

Roberts turned away from conservatives before Trump.
Roberts gave us ObamaCare pretending it was a tax.
I think Roberts is being blackmailed and not because of his children's adoptions.
John Roberts is a big government elitist. He believes the government knows best. And the US government deep state should really run things with politicians just keeping the people in check. None of this, not the Russia thing, not the lock downs, not the endless court stays that stop Trump from building walls or governing as we want, could happen if Roberts would do his job. But he doesn’t, because Roberts is the real King of the deep state.
