Maybe in your make believe world, but not where I grew up in Philadelphia. They must be a special breed in Philadelphia, with extra low-IQ’s, an inability to work, a lack of common sense and a deep hatred for America. They have never been able to manage anything. They are incapable.

Many years ago I dated a guy of Irish heritage whose parents lived in England and brought him at a young age to South Africa. If memory serves me right, his father was an Engineer, his mother a housewife. They settled in Johannesburg, S.A. in a gated community. This was in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s I believe, when I was dating John.
It was a time that was the very beginning of the serious troubles in S.A. I remember John telling me at some point that any white South Africans that wanted to move back to England or move elsewhere in the world, now could not take their accumulated wealth with them upon leaving. Properties and earned monies would revert to the State. It was the beginnings of White citizens of S.A. being trapped in a monetary vice that held many of them captive to continuing to live in S.A. or lose what they had worked for all their lives.
From there on it was the downhill slide for whites in that country. Later came attacks by roving bands of black thugs destroying crops, burning farms/ranch buildings down, attacking white settler families of old (many of Dutch heritage and lots of English too) threatening and outright killing them. And then began the confiscation of their lands, properties that had been in settler hands for many years.
Most whites settled in areas where there were no natives and that were not populated by any tribes. They weren’t transplanting locals from their lands; they cultivated unoccupied and open lands during a colonial era when such migrations to colonies flourished. Now, all whites are subject to being kicked out of S.A., their wealth destroyed, their lands confiscated and given over arbitrarily to blacks most of whom had no idea how to till the soil and/or run a large, mostly agrarian business.
These confiscations aren’t just starting now; they have been going on right along. And the farms/businesses become unproductive and many ruined to the benefit of no one. The law of unintended consequences. I often wonder what has happened to my long ago friend and his family. He settled in Texas and had 1 child when last I heard from him years ago. His parents were stuck in S.A., and I really wonder if they managed to get out of there intact.
John used to call me “Mafuta” (sp?) meaning worth many cows in trade as I was fairly tall and strong then. Some compliment, huh?

Yeah, tell that to the older white famillies who have poured their life’s blood into years of work in S.A. that they should leave (if they even could) and start life and careers all over again when most of their life has already been spent creating wealth and jobs in S.A. for naught.
Does their age change the situation that they will lose their property, and probably their lives, anyway?
At least they can go live with their children and contribute to repairing their situation.
The only ones that have had moderate success integrating are a variety of european whites, in america.

These blacks in the inner-cities are outliers. The vast majority of blacks do identify as proud Americans and many of them will vote for Trump, or not vote for Democrats.
All I'm saying is that SA had a golden opportunity, when the country was unified in 1900, to integrate the existing blacks (and enacted strict immigration quotas) and none of the Apartheid or what's happening now would be happening. SA would have been a powerhouse, probably on par with Japan, Russia, and even the U.S.

It is pretty representative of places with high crime rates due to an underclass of fatherless kids, welfare mothers and gangs mixed with drugs. And the problem isn’t a failure to integrate, as you suggest, but a massive failure in culture. The modern inner city has more roots in LBJ than in “Apartheid”.
SA is screwed, but it is screwed because the politicians gain from promoting anger and resentment instead of working together. A problem we are also experiencing here with the modern Democrat party.

Actually the white Dutch that were there first. South Africa was empty land except for a few pygmies and hot en tots, both of which were hunted by the Bantus. The Bantus, currently inhabitants of SA did not arrive until the Boers ran into them at Natal. Therefore the original inhabitants are the white Europeans.
