Bill Clinton changed the entire security clearance process. The President, that would be Trump, has complete discretion over who does or does not get a clearance of any type.
He was clearing the path for the freaks that Obama was going to drag in who could *never* have gotten clearances through the prior, normal channels.

Funny... but the only thing making Section 230 an issue, at all, is a series of deliberate (paid for) misinterpretations enabled with cherry picked judges intent on legislating from the bench to make Section 230 say the EXACT opposite of what it really says, while preserving the original immunity...
Entirely done by their purposeful and structured effort in serial re-interpretation... means it is totally ephemeral.
All you need to do to fix Section 230 problems is get a single ruling backed by one judge that fully and truthfully illuminates the error, and its history, with searing logic, as it requires correcting the mistakes, precisely, while restoring original intent in the original legislative purpose... to enable the market in working again.
Why have they not found a single case, a single judge, who is willing to pull that trigger... when its clear as can be that even the SCOTUS is chomping at the bit to get a bite of that apple ?
Worms in an apple... ruin what they touch. There is still good fruit along with the bad inside the worm ridden apple... but, the entire fruit is ruined and made unmarketable. Only a fool would buy a ruined fruit for the bit of good left in it ? There is no higher value alternative use for a ruined apple ? The ruined apple cannot be “fixed” and made whole again ? You cannot allow the worms to succeed, too well, or too long, or they will propagate and ruin not the one fruit, or one crop, but future crops, too ? So, worms must be isolated from any ability to emerge, intact, as hope for the future must rely on containment protecting other fruits, future harvests ?
Is there only one apple ? Only one type of fruit ? More than one source of rot in an orchard that has the principle infecting other fruits and other crops, as well ?
Knowing what to do to control a pest still leaves an optimal effort knowingly minimizing costs, not wasting effort or resources, but applying the most functional corrective at the right place, at the right time... not trying to save the single apple, but to save value in producing future crops.
The worm must die... and be disposed of in a way that prevents it propagating further. But, the apple will not be and cannot be saved, nor can the worm be redeemed.
Act... in the proper season for action, with right action.
Properly dispose of ruined fruit, to protect the rest.
Prevent rot in spoiled fruit from spreading.
Prune well.
But, recognize, the fault is not that of the worm ?
The fault is in the product of rotten orchard managers, who fail in protecting the first delicate source of future value, and not in the product of their failures as they are seen in the harvest of wormy rotten fruit ?
What is the origin of the problem that must be corrected ?
The apple, ruined, cannot be repaired... only disposed of.
