Trump did say be peaceful ‘before’ and he did tweet three times ‘during’, once with a video, which twitter deleted as fast as he posted them. Unfortunately, the rabblerousers were rabblerousing before Trump even got on the stage.

The better question is, why didnt Intel advise Trump of what was happening at the Capitol so Trump could keep his people with him instead of sending them blindly to the Capitol?
