W. J. Antilles knows the answer to his own question: Joe Biden’s call for unity won’t achieve any results. Within hours of his inauguration speech, Biden signed executive orders that he knows will infuriate Trump voters like ending the national declaration of an emergency that shifted funds to allow the building of the border wall. The only question is whether the main stream media will inform the public that the call for unity is an empty request. ABC’s evening news program on inauguration day reported Biden’s call for unity but didn’t comment that those executive orders will end any chance for unity. CBS at least acknowledged that Biden critics will point to those executive orders dooming any chances of unity.
