True, Scott Walker's 2016 run may have cost him his seat. Many governors have off-year elections, so they can keep their seats even if he loses (e.g. Mike Dukakis), and of course ex-governors, especially those term-limited, have no such restrictions (e.g. Reagan, Huckabee, John Ellis Bush)

Just to be clear, the fibers which are being referenced, are not the same as the ribbons. The fibers in money that are being spoken of are the little red and blue fibers you see in money, not the ribbon you can see. They are a security feature, but it only requires paper from the same source, and it requires someone to actually look to see it. I note that the article doesn’t suggest that the looking was actually done.

I also note that the link to a picture on Facebook isn’t knowable without a lot more information, and the woman’s claim is a claim I would regard as unsupported.
