If you want Chivington or Calley on the list that is your decision. I didn’t include Genghis Khan or Scipio Africanus either.

True, the Confederate constitution was pro-slavery. But then the United States constitution was pro-slavery.
True, the Confederate president took an oath to protect and defend his nation’s pro-slavery constitution. But then U.S. president Lincoln took an oath - twice - to protect and defend his nation’s pro-slavery constitution.
After the emancipation proclamation, one of those presidents added a slave state to his nation.

Your hero is Chivington, I never mentioned the man, nor considered him. If you want to name a ship after him, that is your call.

Yes, I knew of Chivington and the Sand Creek massacre in the early 60s. Also knew of Custer and the Washita River massacre.
