I’ve had the same happen on some of my mineral rights, it’s common. They analyze, and then prioritize. If they find more productive plays, they exploit them first. They still may or may not drill your area eventually.
Also, my mother got paid $30k for a proposed Wind Turbine pad site and a right of way for cable. Nothing has ever happened there either.
High gas prices push consumers into econoboxes, hybrids and electrics. People waste thousands trading in their cars to save hundreds on gas. I just watch in awe, as I’ve done for years.
Gas prices around NE Alabama have skyrocketed from about $1.85 before the election to a $2.59.9 at the Texaco down the road from my home. Up in town it is around $2.39.9 at most stations. Some are in the 40 cents area also. I got it on the National Guard post, Fort McClellan at $2.24 the other day. The Walmart outside the base was at $2.49.9!! JUST two miles away, the Walmart in that town had their gas at $2.38.9!!! How the heck is the price that different at two different Walmarts only 7 miles apart? Their gas comes from the same tank farm down near the Interstate!!
I think the last boom occurred in spite of Obama’s policies, not because of them.

He loved to to take credit for it, but it’s clear that he was doing all he could to retard the industry. Biden or Harris will do the same if this truly is the beginning of an oil boom that they can’t stop.

Georgia’s vote was totally FUBAR’d across the board.
Trump was simply trying (I suspect) to “rally the troops” to hold the Senate not fully realizing the scope of Georgia’s FUBAR’d vote. The RATS had four years to prepare and perfect the steal. See Stacy Abrams.
As stated earlier, the pubes could have shown up in full force and for good measure thrown in 25K extra votes. It wouldn’t have mattered as the fix was in with however many ballots needed at the ready to ensure victory.
Those people should be so proud to participate in the destruction of the institution of voting throughout the US.

I haven’t checked recently but the wholesale inflation adjusted price of gasoline is at a historical low. After adjusting for average fuel economy it is dirt cheap to fuel a vehicle.
