Hot air. It isn’t going to happen.

I’ve been against MLB having antitrust exemption for decades. They don’t rate it regardless of any of this other stuff. Should never have gotten it the first place.

Politicians pound the table about it occasionally and then it’s back to business as usual.

I’d like to see an official player’s vote.

Do they want to play?

Or do they want to continue to flip off the people and the country who used
to love them and make them rich?

The choice should be theirs. Not some CCP compromised organization’s.

As far as I’m concerned, the’ve simply become the circuses part of the
bread and circuses show to keep the masses distracted, anyway.

Actually, I hope they stay stupid, and the masses become less distracted.

Way too many of these clowns stopped being athletes worth watching,
long ago, anyway. (And there’s a war on, and an election has been most
blatantly and egregiously and obviously stolen.)

Changing nicknames, and phony racial incidents, were on last year’s menu for the WOKE professional sports cabal.

This year, it’s voting rights.

Life is surprisingly full since I’ve gone cold turkey on all professional sports ( except The Masters Golf Tournament ).

Ain’t happening. That would require more than talk and stamping about by real representatives with morals and a backbone.

Baseball eliminated a whole level of minor league teams this year.

They used to have Rookie, Short Season, Low A, High A, 2A, and 3A

They nuked the high A leagues.

That is what is being complained about.

Last year, there were 160 affiliated minor-league teams. Today, there are 120. Three switched over from the independent leagues, so that means 43 teams lost their MLB affiliations. Then, to add insult to injury, they took away all the historic league names.

That’s cannibalization.

Yep. Destroy them via boycotts. Perhaps the leftists will finally learn once their organizational hierarchies are in total financial ruin.

Get the list of the sponsors of the major sports leagues. Call them and write them and tell them you’re boycotting and will no longer buy their products as long as they support #woke sports.

As long as they do the same thing with a GOP controlled House, Senate and President, I am happy with it but, I am sick and tired of symbolic votes that go nowhere. Like the Obamacare repeal votes orchestrated by John's Boner and Paul RINO and voted down by John Mc Stain.

Not necessarily.

Mayve the organization thought the reorg was beneficial, or overdue. Maybe they determined that there wasn’t sufficient benefit to have a low a and high a, that maybe it wasn’t doing for them what they had expected it would do, and having a general baseline “a” groups was enough, and to keep the former “low a” type players in the group below “a”.

Not every reorg is for bad reasons. and this is from person who is not for any woke sports.

Leftists will never learn anything. But we can destroy MLB via boycotts. Also, In the upcoming weeks, I expect States to introduce legislation that ends all public subsidies for Major League Baseball and stadium financing. That'll hurt too.

I heard money was a factor, because the major league teams subsidize the minor league teams. Each major league team now has four farm teams, instead of 5 or 6 or 7. They streamlined and reorganized, and did a reduction in force.

Maybe it’ll drift off in 2021, but with the mid-term in 2022...this might be one of a dozen political topics for the election, and MLB’s punishment comes up as number one to accomplish in 2023.

GOP always talk big when they know there is zero chance of actual consequences. Zero chance this legislation would pass. It’s just a desperate head fake to their lost base.

I go on some baseball boards and the retard level is spectacular even many MLB managers and players are. They all repeat the same BS talking point that moving was good because voters were being held back from voting because of the law. The irony is sickening in that obviously the law is meant to make every vote count.
